About us

Arunachal Pradesh Regional Centre was set up on 31st January 1983, at Itanagar under Seventh Five Year Plan of Government of India to explore and augment the knowledge on faunal wealth of Arunachal Pradesh.

More than 50 research papers were published from the station on different animal groups.

Museum

The museum displays a large collection of dry and wet zoological specimens of vertebrates and invertebrates belonging to the state of Arunachal Pradesh.

Library

The library has a collection of about 1500 books and good number of journals get added to the holding.
